JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
THEME: THE POWER OF TITHE.
Beloved, there are a number of preachers lacking revelation, teaching that tithing is no longer relevant, that it comes from the law, while we are in the regime of grace. Error! Tithing begins with Abraham who was in the regime of grace, because the law was not yet promulgated.
We have the grace that the Spirit of God will give the revelation of tithing.
For this subject, money is the center of all these contradictory teachings.
Money is defined as being the authorization to take. And we all need it; because it authorizes everywhere. In other words, it is a spirit that controls it. Now, to have this authorization, a sacrifice is necessary. And for us Christians, our supreme sacrifice is that of Jesus. Hallelujah!
To have this authorization, we must take the first step towards God and he will come back to us.
Well, Numbers 18:20 teaches us that we have no inheritance outside, no part among the pagans, that is why we have problems. To do this, God is our part. The part is what we bring to God and which determines our unit of measurement of wealth in the spiritual. This is why God must be informed first in our salaries; because it is he who sends us and we must give an account to him.
It should be noted that no one is forced to bring the tithe in the new covenant.
In Malachi 3, the Holy Spirit will reveal to us the cause of the state of poverty of Christians.
The sudden coming of Jesus in his temple (our body) is announced by his messenger (the shepherd of the local assembly). He comes in this way to purify us in order to present the offerings of justice. For when we do not bring the tithe, we are cursed. That is why God comes into us to purify us before enriching us.
To do this, we must come to God by bringing the tithes and offerings into the storehouse. It is then that the windows of heaven will be opened to us and the devourer driven out.
Another cause of the curse is the harshness of our words against God. As he hears, then the books of remembrance are opened to see if we are part of those who think of God. If not, the situation becomes more serious. And the promise is made to establish the difference between those who serve the Lord and those who do not serve him. That was the old covenant.
In the new covenant, the tithe has not been abolished. It is the manner and the name that have changed. The tithe or the share is given to the one who teaches us the word.
In the old covenant, the law had set the value of the tithe at 1/10th, because of the hardness of their hearts; but in grace, we give with love. In the new covenant, there is freedom, so that each one will manage his level of wealth. But the word warns us that we do not mock God, this in relation to the quality of the parts (small) that we bring to Him. The part must be loaded with graces, because grace is superior to the law. This is why we will no longer use the calculator to get the 1/10th, the kind whose salary is 198750 and we bring 19875.
